South Korean confectionery giant Orion has launched a new series of products in Vietnam, including the “Matcha Red Bean Choco Pie,” as part of its strategy to diversify its product portfolio and drive continuous demand.

On June 22, Orion’s Vietnamese subsidiary rolled out the Matcha Red Bean Choco Pie, a unique treat combining sweet red bean cream, marshmallow, and matcha-flavored cake, all coated in rich chocolate. The product is designed to offer a blend of distinctive flavors in one bite.

Orion continues to lead the local Choco Pie market, with a dominant 65% market share. Choco Pie sales in Vietnam have surpassed $73.5 million, reinforcing its reputation as the country’s beloved national snack.

In addition to the new Choco Pie, Orion introduced the “Miz Hobuzz Chocolate Breakfast Cookie,” which comes with a game card set that lets children solve puzzles and learn fun facts about Asian countries. The set includes 18 collectible cards featuring adorable Hobuzz characters in traditional outfits from around the world.

Other newly launched products include “King Hải Tặc,” a fruit jelly candy with a chewy shell and popping texture, and a seaweed-flavored version of “Masita,” the localized name for Orion’s popular turtle chips. The “An Butter Grilled Corn Rice Cracker” was also released in new packaging.
